2010 Published Accounts Awards

 

Cement Roadstone Holdings (CRH) has today been announced as the Overall Winner of this year’s Published Accounts Awards. The awards, which are hosted by Chartered Accountants Leinster Society took place today (19 November 2010) in The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin. 

 

A total of 26 Irish companies, not-for-profit organisations and charities competed as finalists across seven distinct award categories to be rewarded and recognised for achieving excellence in financial reporting. 

 

Among the category winners were Greencore Group, which took the award for Small/Medium Quoted Companies and Total Produce, which won the Enterprise Securities Market category for the second year running.  Also continuing its run from winning last year was RTE, who were again presented with the winner’s award for Statutory Unquoted Entities.  Concern won the award for Charities and Not For Profit Organisations and was selected as the overall winner of the Design category for the presentation of its’ financial accounts reports.   

 

The Published Accounts Awards are organised by the Chartered Accountants Leinster Society and are sponsored by the Irish Stock Exchange. The Awards reward companies who seek excellence in financial reporting in Ireland.

Speaking at the presentation of the Published Accounts Awards, Paul Kennedy, Chairman, Chartered Accountants Leinster Society, said: “Now in their 33rd year, the Awards recognise the commitment shown by Irish companies in seeking excellence in financial reporting and clear and coherent communication with shareholders.
